Well done! Your first listing is online and immediately visible to buyers. Below you can read what happens now, how a sale unfolds step by step and how to sell faster.
What happens now?
Your listing sits in your shop and appears in the search results. Interested buyers can send you a message, make an offer or buy right away. You get a notification each time, so there's nothing for you to keep an eye on.
How a sale works
- A buyer responds. They accept your asking price straight away with 'Buy now', or they make an offer. With an offer, you decide whether to accept, decline or make a counter-offer.
- You arrange the delivery. Together you agree on a place where the buyer collects it. Shipping is not possible yet.
- The buyer pays and you deliver. The buyer pays you on the spot when collecting.
- The sale is completed. As soon as the buyer has the item and is satisfied, the sale is done.
Collection: how the payment works
How the money reaches you depends on the delivery.
With collection, buyer and seller agree together on a handover spot. The buyer pays you on the spot, after you've looked at the item together. You arrange this between yourselves and Truede doesn't get involved.
Shipping is not possible yet: for now you sell with collection.
Sell faster?
- Good, sharp photos in daylight and a fair price work best.
- Keep your photo tidy and choose a neutral, clean background.
- A clear title and description attract the right buyers.
- Reply promptly to messages and offers. Buyers drop off if they have to wait long.
- Share your listing and your shop on your social media.
Keep your shop tidy
Don't want to sell it anymore, or is it no longer available? Then take your listing offline in time. That keeps your Truede shop tidy and avoids having to disappoint a buyer.
How to edit, pause or remove a listing, you can read in Managing your listings.
